Governor Christie Halts the ARC Project

In October 2010, Governor Christie halted construction of a trans-Hudson rail tunnel into New York City. The project would have been by New Jersey, the Federal government and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. New York State would have made no direct contribution, despite the fact that New Jersey residents who work in New York pay taxes to the Empire State.

CSI-NJ Executive Director Paul Tyahla spoke with New Jersey Now to debate the issue.
